Lotus Train: Hue → Ha Noi
Hue to Ha Noi northbound, boarding in the evening once the Citadel has closed and the riverside has cooled down, arriving in the capital before midday. It is the leg that saves a hotel night at both ends of a Hue stay: you keep the whole last day in the imperial city — the tombs are best in the afternoon light — and still wake up in Ha Noi with the day ahead of you. Cabins are private rooms rather than shared compartments, in two-berth and four-berth layouts, with bedding made up, air conditioning and a door that locks from inside. Breakfast is served on board before arrival.
