Train vs Flight in Vietnam
Should you take the train or fly between Vietnamese cities? A door-to-door comparison of time, cost, comfort, luggage and the routes where each one wins. The fastest answer is not always the most useful one. A domestic flight may take a little over an hour in the air, while a train between the same two regions takes most of a night. But travel time is not the number printed on the ticket. It also includes getting to the terminal, waiting, boarding, collecting baggage and reaching your accommodation at the other end.
